It’s a no-brainer that PCB remediation and cleanup along the Hudson River is far from completion.
Communities along the river have been pleading with EPA and other organizations for years to restore the cleanliness of the local water supply. GE’s $1.6 billion cleanup project from 2009-2014 has only resuspended concentrations of PCBs and other toxic contaminants downriver, afflicting more communities with the issue.
