February 16, 2018 – (Portland Tribune) – The Yakama Nation of Native Americans has said it is suing 30 Potentially Responsible Parties (PRPs) to cover remaining remediation costs. The Yakama Nation says contamination from the Portland Harbor Superfund site has spread down from the Willamette River into the Columbia River where the Nation has treaty rights to fish which are a traditional and cultural keystone to their diet and lifestyle.
